Safeguarding policy

Last updated 20 September 2026.

1. Our commitment

BeMiHub Studio classes are designed for adults. This policy sets out the rules that apply whenever a participant under 18 is present, and the conduct standards that apply to every class. These rules are not optional for anyone teaching or working with us.

2. Consent

A participant under 18 may only join through an account held by a parent or guardian, who must give consent at the time of booking and be contactable for the duration of the class.

3. Group sessions only

We do not offer, and will not arrange, one-to-one video sessions between an adult and a participant under 18 under any circumstances.

4. Instructor checks

Instructors go through identity verification and reference checks before their first class. Fitness, yoga and Pilates instructors are additionally asked for their certification, because these classes carry physical safety responsibility.

5. Communication

Instructors communicate only through official BeMiHub Studio channels. An instructor does not contact any participant privately through a personal account, number or platform.

6. In-class conduct

Classes are held in a shared, visible space. Instructors do not ask a participant to move to a private call, do not request photographs or videos, and do not ask for personal contact details.

7. Recording

Classes are not recorded for promotional use. Where a class is observed for quality review, this is stated to participants in advance.

8. Reporting a concern

If you have any concern about the safety or conduct of a class, write immediately to connect@bemihubstudio.com with the word SAFEGUARDING in the subject line. Concerns are reviewed by a director. Where the law requires it, we report to the appropriate authority.

9. Review

This policy is reviewed at least once a year and whenever our practice changes.
